Why Me?

"I still cant accept my past. Why those things happened to me?"

I heard that often.

Sometimes I too, feel the same.

Why I did that? Why am I given life like this?

But we forget that every turns of event in our life lead us to where we are now. All of that, made ME a ME. And YOU, the YOU that I know.

Every single things that happened to your life before, my friend, are leading you to me. They made you enrolled in this university and met me.

Little did you know how bless I am for knowing you.

Sometimes, the hikmah is for others, not for us. But surely, that will also become beneficial to us. In a way that sometimes we can't understand. God works in mysterious ways. We are not living in this world for ourselves only. We also live for others. Our lives are interconnected to one another.

Musa's mother yearned for a baby girl. Yet, she was given a boy who would lead his tribe and save them.

Imran asked for a baby boy for years! But he was given a little girl who grew up to be an exemplary woman to the whole mankind. A birth that benefits a lot.

Maybe all those bitter past and all the tests and tribulations that we are enduring are preparing us to a greater good in the future? Who knows. Does everything happen for a reason? Of course it does. Each and every single event in being happens for a reason. But you have to know that the reason is not just what made it happen. But what it makes happen. Complicated? 

For example. You failed to get into a university. You felt down. But then, you realized what you did wrong, woke up and tried harder. After that, you were accepted in a better university. So the reason why you failed is for you to get into a better university. And that reason, is for you to assign. We must learn to say “this happened so” rather than “this happened because”. If we just try to see the answer in what happened in the past, it is meaningless. If you just think that you failed because you are stupid, it will bring you nowhere. The real reason lies somewhere in your future. And it's your choice and your wills that lead you to it. Are you still following?

Or perhaps like this. Another example. You fall from the stairs and broke your leg. It is because the stairs are wet. So what? Does it brings any meaning to me? Therefore, you keep thinking, "why does it happen to me?" and become resentful. You can never make sense of this with just that. The final cause, perhaps, years later someone that you met in the hospital offered you a great help. Get it, buddies?

The reason/meaning lies in the future. And you know, maybe some fortunes that we have now happened because what had happened to us in our past."Ahh this happened to me for this reason", is sometimes being ignored by our mind. But if you persist to find the meaning in your life, your heart will lead you.

And why are you the one who get those tests? I can only say, because YOU are YOU. Only you are capable to be you, with all its tribulations and happiness :) Thats why God gives you that package. And it's your job to find its meaning.
